Poor Man’s Hot Tub: Cast iron, mineral-stained tubs, circa 1890. Filled with bathwater to the temperature of your choice! Please note: you may want a bathing suit as our shrubs aren't entirely mature, so there isn't complete privacy from the main house.
We encourage you to explore our 15 acre property! There is a nook for everyone, whether you want to read a book, take a nap, pick some veggies or flowers, enjoy a long walk, or just soak in all of the natural beauty that this homestead has to offer.
All packages include full access to grounds and housing.

HeartRock is off the beaten path! Please enjoy the stretches of greenery that take you to and from our little piece of heaven.
The nearest small town is Lovingston, a 15 mins drive, where you can get most anything you need.
Nellysford offers breweries, cideries, wineries, hiking and the Rockfish River. Depending on which adventure you choose, the drive is usually between 15 and 30 minutes.
The cities of Charlottesville and Lynchburg are equally 45 mins in opposite directions from the house.
Please Note
We do our best to provide you with a clean, natural space. We do not use insecticides or chemicals. This means you can smell and eat almost anything on the property. This also means that you may experience an occasional cobweb or unwanted little farm creature. There are goats on the property, along with our large Great Pyrenees dog named Aslan, and Bilbo the butler kitty.
Wifi: Our wifi connection is metered. You will have plenty of data for zoom calls, but please do NOT stream Netflix, YouTube platforms etc. Download those items prior to your arrival. We supply an adapter that connects to your iPhone or Android to watch your downloaded material.
Pets: You are welcome to bring along animal companions. $50 deposit per pet, two pet max. Please keep your dog on a leash at all times while on the property.
